PCB Designer Verified today
AnySignal is building performant, resilient and adaptive connectivity for the space economy.
As a PCB designer on the hardware team, you will own the design and manufacture of highly integrated RF devices used by space customers. You will work with a small team of software, hardware, and FPGA engineers to shepherd the product from initial design to delivery.
Responsibilities
- Own PCB placement, routing, review, and manufacturing release.
- Design multilayer RF, mixed-signal, high-speed digital, and power boards.
- Define stackups, controlled impedances, routing constraints, and via structures.
- Create and maintain Altium symbols, footprints, and component libraries.
- Generate fabrication and assembly documentation.
- Work with fabricators and contract manufacturers to resolve DFM and production issues.
Required Skills
- 3+ years of professional PCB layout experience.
- Strong proficiency with Altium Designer.
- Experience with RF and microwave layouts, including controlled-impedance transmission lines, matching networks, RF isolation, ground stitching, via fencing, and shielding.
- Understanding of grounding, return paths, signal integrity, EMI/EMC, and power distribution.
- Knowledge of PCB fabrication, SMT assembly, and DFM/DFA principles.
- Ability to read schematics, datasheets, and mechanical drawings.
Desired Skills
- Experience with FPGA or RFSoC systems, DDR memory, PCIe, Ethernet, JESD204, high-speed SerDes, ADCs, DACs, PLLs, and precision clock distribution.
- Experience with HDI, microvias, via-in-pad, or backdrilling.
- Experience with Ansys SIwave, HyperLynx, Sigrity, or similar PCB analysis tools.
- Experience with Altium 365, managed libraries, component lifecycle management, release workflows, and version control.
- Aerospace, defense, or other high-reliability electronics experience.
- Understanding of IPC Class 3 requirements.
We care more about demonstrated ownership and sound design judgment than checking every preferred qualification. Please apply even if your experience does not match every item listed.
