The Role

As Electronics Engineering Manager, you will lead and expand a team of junior and senior electronics engineers. You'll architect next-generation electronic systems, oversee hardware development from design through verification, and drive the design process including specification, component selection, circuit board design, and system integration.

You will manage project schedules to align hardware development with program timelines, lead hands-on debugging and board bring-up, and support production and operations teams. You'll also recruit and hire new team members and foster a culture of innovation within the team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science or higher in Electrical Engineering or similar technical field
  • 5+ years professional experience in fast-paced product design and development
  • 5+ years hands-on experience designing and developing complex electronic hardware from concept to production
  • Demonstrated ability to design, build, and test hardware from scratch
  • Proven experience building and managing engineering teams with strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • US Citizen or Green Card holder (required for ITAR compliance)

Bonus Qualifications

  • Experience with photovoltaics
  • Experience with Li-ion batteries and battery management systems
  • Experience with magnetics in power electronics
  • Knowledge of radiation effects on electronic components

Compensation

Base salary: $160,000-$215,000 USD. Compensation package includes equity via incentive stock options, company-subsidized healthcare, disability and life insurance, 401(k) retirement planning, flexible PTO, and free on-site catered meals.
