Your Mission
You will help build and maintain test benches, test sites and the launchpad in Andoya for the Spectrum launcher. You will plan systems using WSCAD, carry out build-up, maintenance, troubleshooting and upgrades. Hands-on work is part of your daily role. You will work closely with engineering departments across testing and launch sites, guiding the electrical aspects of medium-sized projects, overseeing small electrical teams and coordinating with external companies.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead the electrical aspects of medium-sized projects
- Coordinate work in small teams and external companies and suppliers
- Plan electrical systems for various in-house test benches (24VDC and 230/400VAC)
- Create circuit diagrams for control cabinets to local and company standards
- Wire different kinds of sensors and actuators
- Construct and wire control cabinets and complete electrical systems
- Install control cabinets and other electrical systems
- Troubleshoot complex electrical systems
- Carry out standardized functional testing of control cabinets and prepare measurement protocols
Required Qualifications
- Completed apprenticeship as electrician and further education (staatl. gepr. Techniker, Meister or similar)
- At least 5 years of planning and working with industrial electrical systems (24V, 230/400V)
- Extensive general knowledge of electrical systems and components, including industrial sensors and actuators
- Experience with ECAD programs (preferably WSCAD)
- Experience with applicable electrical standards and norms (VDE/EN)
- High reliability and sense of responsibility
- Team player with a can-do attitude
- Fluent in English
