Senior Quality Engineer Propulsion (m/f/d) Verified today
Your Role in Our Space Mission
As part of the Quality team, you will manage quality control activities and work with the production team to maintain product quality by enforcing quality management policies, procedures and instructions.
- Monitor the entire assembly, integration and testing cycle of propulsion (sub-)assemblies, plan and execute quality control activities, evaluate nonconformities, and specify corrective and preventive actions to solve problems
- Conduct quality checks for ongoing works with site inspections on a regular basis and ensure that technical standards are always met
- Oversee the assembly, testing and engineering processes by ensuring the proper use of tools, materials and procedures and determine quality metrics
- Understand test requirements and propose solutions to resolve issues, including support for testing of subsystems from the Quality side
- Create quality and safety documentation
- Plan and organize regular product inspections as well as manage internal audits
- Prepare quality control plans in accordance with company plans and review the documentation
- Work with internal teams to increase customer satisfaction by improving the quality of the products
Qualification Checklist
- University degree in engineering or related field
- At least 10 years in highly regulated production environment (Aerospace, Defence, Automotive), with 3 years in Quality or Testing
- Experience working with one or more of the following systems: Valves, Turbomachinery, Combustion Devices, Fluid Systems, and experience in testing of subassemblies
