As a Radio Frequency Engineer in the Research and Development department, you will work on new developments for the next generation of ISISPACE spacecraft. Together with your colleagues you will design and verify RF systems as they progress from concept to deployment. You will be responsible for RF performance of spacecraft equipment and for addressing Electromagnetic Interference (EMI) and Electromagnetic Compatibility (EMC) concerns.

Your main responsibilities

  • Design RF systems for spacecraft, including component selection and architecture definition
  • Collaborate with electronics, software, and mechanical engineers to build prototypes and engineering models
  • Simulate proposed systems to inform the design process
  • Develop and execute test plans to validate RF system performance and ensure compliance with requirements
  • Analyse data from RF tests and simulations to diagnose issues, optimise system performance, and propose solutions
  • Identify and mitigate RF-related issues such as interference, noise, and EMI/EMC
  • Prepare detailed technical documentation including design specifications, test reports, and compliance documentation
