About Logos Space
Logos Space is building a Low Earth Orbit satellite system designed for high-performance, resilient connectivity to enterprise and government customers worldwide. The system extends cloud and data center network connectivity to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals.
The Role
You will be responsible for electronics test operations and automation on the Logos avionics team. You will own test hardware delivery through its entire lifecycle: design, development, and production build. You will generate and release technical drawings, test procedures, and reports that support hardware design and validation.
The avionics engineering team ensures that flight avionics on the Logos bus and payload are fully validated through analysis and test. You will support hardware design activities from the idea stage to flight, working in a fast-moving environment where you turn vague design concepts into tangible hardware ready for test and flight.
Responsibilities
- Own electronics test operations and automation
- Manage test hardware delivery timeline through design, development, and production
- Generate and release technical drawings, test procedures, and reports in support of hardware design and validation
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM field with relevant electrical design and analysis work experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in electronics testing using oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers, and similar instruments
- Experience with custom automated test equipment (ATEs)
- Experience with large test equipment: vibration tables, thermal vacuum chambers, HALT chambers
- Experience with harness assembly and PCB rework and assembly
- Knowledge of automation and scripting software such as Python and MATLAB
- Strong understanding of parts derating and failure mode evaluation
- Experience working with contract manufacturers to build, troubleshoot, and test custom hardware
- Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a STEM field with relevant electrical design and analysis work experience
- Familiarity with circuit simulation software such as LTSpice
- Experience with analog control loop design and schematic review
- Familiarity with parts derating standards such as EEE-INST-002 and ECSS-Q-ST-30-11C
- Experience with parts stress analysis
- Ability and willingness to attain a Top Secret Clearance
