About Logos Space

Logos Space builds a Low Earth Orbit satellite system to serve connectivity needs of commercial and government users worldwide. The system extends cloud and data center network connectivity to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals, with speed and reliability as core design principles.

The Role

You will work on the design, development, flight validation, assembly, integration, test, and inflight success of the Logos fleet. The electrical engineering team ensures that flight avionics on the spacecraft bus and payload are fully validated through analysis and test. You will support hardware design from concept to flight, turning vague design ideas into tangible hardware ready for test and flight operations.

Responsibilities

  • Own the overall electrical design of flight avionics hardware, including component selection and PCB design
  • Perform nominal and worst-case analysis scenarios across all hardware development phases
  • Own product delivery timeline through entire lifecycle: design, development, prototyping, production build, system integration, and on-orbit operations
  • Generate and release technical drawings, specifications, test procedures, and reports in support of hardware design and validation

Required Qualifications

Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field with relevant electrical design and analysis work experience

Experience:

  • Minimum 5 years in electrical design and analysis
  • 3+ years with signal/power integrity tools such as Ansys SIwave or HyperLynx
  • High-speed digital interfaces (DDR4/DDR5, 1G/10G Ethernet)
  • Communication circuits (Ethernet, RS422/RS485, CAN, SPI)
  • Worst-case analysis (Monte Carlo) and parts stress analysis
  • Professional experience with PCB design software such as Altium
  • Strong understanding of parts derating and failure mode evaluation
  • Experience with test hardware (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers)
  • Proven track record working with electrical hardware systems through entire product lifecycle
  • Working with contract manufacturers to build, troubleshoot, and test PCBAs
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, written, and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field with relevant work experience
  • Circuit simulation tools such as Simetrix/Simplis and LTSpice
  • RF systems and EMI/EMC/ESD mitigations through design
  • Familiarity with parts derating standards such as EEE-INST-002 and ECSS-Q-ST-30-11C
  • Familiarity with IPC standards relevant to PCB design (IPC-2221)
  • Automation/scripting software such as Python and MATLAB
  • Ability and willingness to attain a Top Secret Clearance

Note: Offers will be contingent on the candidate's ability to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
