What you will do

The electrical engineering team designs, develops, validates, and supports flight avionics on the Logos spacecraft bus and payload. You will own the complete electrical design lifecycle: from vague design ideas through component selection, magnetics design, PCB layout, analysis, test, and on-orbit success.

Your responsibilities include:

  • Electrical design and analysis of flight avionics hardware, including component selection, magnetics design, and PCB design
  • Perform nominal and worst-case analysis scenarios across all phases of hardware development
  • Own product delivery timeline from design through development, prototyping, production build, system integration, and on-orbit operations
  • Generate technical drawings, specifications, test procedures, and reports in support of hardware design and validation
  • Work with contract manufacturers to build, troubleshoot, and test PCBAs

What you bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field, plus 5+ years electrical design and analysis experience
  • 3+ years with circuit simulation software (Simetrix/Simplis, LTSpice)
  • Professional experience with PCB design software (Altium)
  • Hands-on knowledge of worst-case analysis (Monte Carlo) and parts stress analysis
  • Strong understanding of parts derating and failure mode evaluation
  • Experience with RF systems and EMI/EMC/ESD mitigation through design
  • Proficiency with test equipment (oscilloscopes, power supplies, spectrum analyzers)
  • Proven track record managing electrical hardware systems through full product lifecycle
  • Self-motivated with strong organisational, written, and oral communication skills

Preferred qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field
