About Logos Space

Logos Space is building a Low Earth Orbit satellite system for enterprise and government connectivity worldwide. The system delivers high-performance broadband to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals with resilience and reliability built in from the start.

The Role

You will lead all production test systems development, deployment, and management for our satellite payloads and ground terminals. This is a critical leadership position in our Operations team, ensuring quality, reliability, and manufacturability of complex space and terrestrial hardware including power, network, RF, baseband systems, and phased array antennas.

You will work in a fast-moving environment where you take vague requirements, execute decisively, and drive the Logos product mission forward with extreme task ownership.

What You Will Do

  • Lead definition and documentation of comprehensive production test requirements, procedures, and specifications for satellite payload modules and ground terminal systems.
  • Collaborate with hardware and software design teams to integrate Design for Test (DFT) principles into product architecture from early development stages.
  • Manage selection, procurement, deployment, and validation of production test equipment (ATE, custom fixtures, RF test sets) across internal and contract manufacturer facilities.
  • Develop, deploy, and maintain test software (drivers, sequences, reporting tools) with software teams to automate test execution and data collection.
  • Establish calibration and maintenance schedules for all production test equipment to ensure measurement accuracy and repeatability.
  • Define and manage production test limits, guard banding strategies, and yield targets, driving continuous improvement to optimize test efficiency and reduce cost of goods sold.
  • Analyze test data and production yields to identify root causes of failures, drive corrective actions, and implement process improvements.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for production test issues, supporting contract manufacturers and internal teams.
  • Develop and implement training programs for manufacturing personnel on test procedures and equipment operation.
  • Lead efforts to scale production test infrastructure globally as production volume increases.

Basic Qualifications

  • U.S. Person status required to access export controlled data.
  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related technical discipline with equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years experience in Quality Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or Operations within high-volume, complex hardware production.
  • 5+ years experience in hardware production test engineering or manufacturing test engineering, with 2+ years in a technical leadership or supervisory role.
  • Proven experience developing test systems for complex electronic hardware involving RF, digital/baseband, and power systems.
  • Hands-on experience with standard RF test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Vector Network Analyzers, Signal Generators, Power Meters).
  • Proficiency in test automation scripting/programming languages (e.g., Python, C#, LabVIEW).
  • Experience partnering directly with Contract Manufacturers for high-volume production test deployment and management.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
  • Experience with production tests for space systems, satellite payloads, or aerospace hardware.
  • Direct experience testing phased array antennas, beamforming systems, or complex communications links.
  • Familiarity with industry standards for quality control and reliability testing (e.g., ISO, AS9100).
  • Demonstrated ability to drive substantial improvements in production test yield, throughput, and efficiency.
  • Strong understanding of statistical process control (SPC) and data analysis techniques used in manufacturing environments.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to articulate technical concepts to engineering and executive audiences.
