About Logos Space

Logos Space is building a Low Earth Orbit satellite system for global enterprise and government connectivity. The constellation delivers resilient, high-performance satellite-based connectivity to fixed, seaborne, and airborne terminals worldwide.

The Role

As Senior RF Systems Engineer, you will lead the RF Payload team in transforming system and network requirements into executable designs ready for production flight. You own the full RF chain analysis from antenna through digital baseband inputs, managing complex trade spaces across multiple payloads.

Working in a fast-moving environment, you will take vague design ideas and deliver tangible hardware ready for test and flight, working alongside high performers to solve hard problems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and test strategies throughout the design life cycle; own executable link budgets that map system requirements to realizable hardware
  • Find COTS parts or specify and coordinate custom parts with partners
  • Ensure RF system design integrity through detailed analysis and lab-based verification of component technologies
  • Translate executable link budgets and analyses into implementable system designs that meet specifications in their simplest forms
  • Drive lab and data-driven analysis, design, integration and test across the RF Payload team
  • Own quality of design and predictable outcomes through hands-on lab work throughout the program lifecycle
  • Write and own technical documentation for RF system design, function, performance, integration and system testing

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF systems, circuit designs, EMI/EMC, or antenna systems
  • Minimum 5 years experience in full system designs in satellite RF payload or wireless networking domain
  • Professional experience with satellite RF payload designs
  • Deep knowledge of RF systems and best practices in their conception and design
  • Hands-on hardware experience (assembly, integration, test) in professional or academic settings; comfortable with driver firmware
  • Experience in design and validation for launch and space environments
  • Knowledge of MIL-46, FCC Part 25, 3GPP compliance specifications
  • Proven track record working with antenna engineers, ASIC/RFIC engineers, and DSP engineers from concept through operations
  • Self-motivated with strong organizational, written and oral communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Electrical Engineering with focus on RF systems, circuit designs, EM theory, or complex antenna systems
  • 10+ years experience designing RF systems for complex payloads from concept to volume production
  • Demonstrated understanding of satellite and terrestrial wireless systems, especially mmWave design for production success
  • Demonstrated understanding of phased arrays, power amplifiers, low noise amplifiers, corporate feed networks, and time/phase synchronization systems

Offers contingent on ability to access export-controlled information under U.S. law.
