About the role

As an RF Hardware Engineer, you will own RF electronics design and performance for next-generation ground station products. You will influence the overall ground network design through RF performance trades and collaborate with electrical, mechanical, manufacturing, and software engineers from concept to production.

Responsibilities

  • Design RF electronics hardware and iterate on existing designs to improve reliability, performance, and manufacturability
  • Create electromagnetic simulation models of amplifiers, filters, and PCB layouts to evaluate performance
  • Build and characterize RF circuits including LNAs, filters, power amplifiers, and support circuitry for power and digital control
  • Collaborate with hardware and software engineers to characterize and troubleshoot integrated RF system performance

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline
  • 0-4+ years of RF design experience across circuits, filters, or antennas

Preferred Qualifications

  • RF line-up design, considering non-linearity, noise, output power, and blocker/jammer tolerance
  • Power amplifier, LNA, and filter design
  • Design and bring-up of point-of-load converters and digital interfaces such as I2C/SPI
  • Theory and testing of EVM, Noise Figure, power handling metrics (IIP2, IMD), impedance matching, amplifier stability, and cascaded network analysis
  • Python or other programming language for data analysis and test automation

Requirements

  • Must obtain and maintain a Top Secret Security Clearance as a condition of employment
  • Must be willing to work extended hours and weekends as needed
  • Must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible to obtain authorization from the U.S. Department of State to comply with ITAR regulations
