Integration Technician II, Thrust Structure, Second Shift Verified today

About the Role

The Integration Technician II role plays a critical part in ensuring that various components and systems of flight hardware are assembled, tested, and installed with the highest quality. You will work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment to build and install flight hardware for Terran R, our next-generation reusable rocket.

Your primary focus will be assembly, install, and testing of flight hardware through development and production of Thrust Structure for Terran R, including Secondary Structures, Fluids Systems, Avionics Systems, and Engine Installations.

Your Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, and test flight hardware components and systems
• Collaborate with the production team, integration engineers, and quality team to build, develop, and document job operations
• Operate hand, pneumatic, calibrated tools, and measuring devices
• Apply fasteners, torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations
• Communicate effectively with engineering and production teams

About You

• 2+ years of aerospace mechanical experience or related field
• Experience working in a fast-paced production environment handling flight hardware and performing critical operations
• Technical skills including fastener/torque applications, secondary retention, testing, avionics familiarity, and bonding operations
• Ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing with engineering and production
• Ability to set up and operate a wide range of hand and pneumatic tools along with calibrated tools and measuring devices
• Able to climb ladders and work in tight spaces
• Able to safely navigate uneven terrain or surfaces
• Able to frequently crouch, bend, squat, and kneel to access low-level areas (Personal Protective Equipment provided)
• Able to reach and extend arms overhead for the duration required to complete assembly tasks

Nice to Have

• FAA Airframe and Power Plant license

Work Schedule and Compensation

This is a second-shift position with a standard schedule of Monday through Friday, 3:30 p.m. to 2:00 a.m. PT. The role is structured around a 50-hour workweek, including 10 guaranteed overtime hours each week. In addition to base pay, employees receive a 10% shift differential.
