The Exploration Company is developing, producing and operating Nyx, a modular and reusable space orbital vehicle that can be refuelled in orbit and carry cargo and potentially humans.

We need an experienced Electrical Technician to lead installation, commissioning and debugging of electrical systems for propulsion test benches. This is a hands-on role requiring technical expertise, problem-solving and a proactive approach to ensuring test success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform integration of sensors, actuators, power supplies and control systems for various test benches
  • Manufacture and verify cabinets according to electrical schematics
  • Manufacture ground and flight harnesses
  • Support design engineers in optimizing harness layout and routing for engines
  • Troubleshoot signals and electronic devices including data acquisition systems, valve drivers, power supplies and exciters
  • Conduct root cause analyses and implement corrective actions to ensure system reliability
  • Collaborate with design engineers to enhance performance and safety of test benches
  • Maintain accurate records of system installations, debugging and maintenance activities
  • Prepare technical reports and contribute to standard operating procedures development

Required Qualifications

  • Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics or equivalent professional experience
  • 3+ years experience in electrical system installation, commissioning and troubleshooting
  • Proficiency using electronics equipment including DMMs, oscilloscopes, power supplies and DAQs
  • 2+ years experience manufacturing wire harnesses or electro-mechanical sub-assemblies

Desirable Experience

  • Experience working on test facilities in aerospace, aviation, military or high-reliability industries
  • Strong knowledge of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and instrumentation
  • Hands-on experience with sizing, installing and troubleshooting electronic components
  • Positive and flexible attitude in evolving environments
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • English language communication ability
  • Detail-oriented with commitment to safety and quality standards
