About the Role
Vantor is building a High-Performance Computing (HPC) environment to provide full lifecycle support of compute, network, and storage infrastructure. You will join a multitalented team of Linux Administrators, DevOps and Infrastructure Engineers, and Systems Engineers to support computational design elements of GPUs and their integration into a new platform serving critical intelligence operations.
Your work directly impacts national security. The systems you support enable advanced geospatial intelligence, machine learning, artificial intelligence, and data analytics for one of the nation's most critical intelligence organizations.
What You Will Do
- Install, configure, and sustain Linux operating systems, application software, and system management tools
- Assist in the design and provisioning of the enterprise network environment
- Prepare and deliver program and user level documentation for system operations
- Provide technical systems support for project activities
- Monitor for performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Understand current system, subsystems, and component specifications; recommend changes to facilitate efficient development
- Communicate and share expertise within and across organizational boundaries
- Work both independently and in small groups with technical team leads
Requirements
- U.S. Citizen
- Active TS/SCI clearance with ability to obtain a CI polygraph
- Bachelor's degree in network engineering, information systems, computer engineering, or related technical field (relevant professional experience may substitute)
- Minimum 3 years' experience in all of the following: System Administration or systems engineering in Linux-heavy environments; DevOps Infrastructure support; build, operations, and sustainment of LAN/WAN networks; implementing DOD Cyber Security requirements; physical compute and networking hardware
- Demonstrated experience troubleshooting and evaluating alternatives to solve complex problems
Preferred Qualifications
- Exposure to Infiniband networks and configuration
- Experience with Juniper Network and Security Platforms
- At least 5 years' experience in the above technical qualifications

Compensation
Base pay for Washington, DC metropolitan area: $95,000.00 to $139,700.00 annually. Pay varies by location based on geographic cost of labor.
